Funeral flowers. Sympathy flowers. Tribute flowers. Whatever we call them they’re a hard thing to have to ask for. But when you find yourself in the awful situation of needing to say farewell to a loved one, tribute flowers may be one of the things you wish to include as part of their commemoration of life, or whatever type of service you choose or they wished for.
Funeral flowers come in many forms. Many more than perhaps we realise. They can be simple but beautiful sheafs like the one to the left. Or a living wreath (like below) that you could plant somewhere to continue growing in your loved one’s memory. Or perhaps you’d like a sustainable take on a more traditional casket topper, like at the bottom of this page. Or any myriad of other types and combinations that feel most right for you, your family and the loved one you’re honouring.
I think flowers for any situation are special, but to contribute to something so deeply personal and emotional as a funeral would be my honour and my privilege. All of my sympathy flowers follow my Wild by Design ethos of seasonal, sustainable and slightly wild, meaning they’ll be suitable for a ‘traditional’ service or a natural burial meadow (or something similar). I can incorporate elements from your or your loved ones’ garden that have meaning to you and them, or other personal touches for this special tribute.
And everything I do will be with you, for them, with love.
